Scaling AI Capabilities: How KV Nordrhein is empowering for AI
Together with the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians North Rhine (KV Nordrhein), we are demonstrating how AI literacy can be developed across an entire organization in a way that is tailored to specific target groups. Using statworx ACT!, we created a customized training solution that addresses the regulatory requirements of Article 4 of the EU AI Act and empowers employees to use AI responsibly.

Challenge
With the introduction of the EU AI Act and the increasing use of AI, KV Nordrhein faced the task of building AI literacy across the entire organization. They needed a scalable training solution that would address regulatory requirements while going beyond mere compliance: employees needed to develop a shared foundational understanding, learn to evaluate the opportunities and risks of AI, and be able to use AI safely and responsibly.
Approach
Using statworx ACT!, we implemented a digital training solution tailored to KVNO’s specific requirements while remaining scalable across the organization. Internal guidelines and KVNO-specific content were integrated into the program. The content is available flexibly and remotely via a central learning platform. Interactive learning formats ensure that knowledge is conveyed clearly, applied actively, and retained effectively.
Result
More than 1,000 KVNO employees have already been trained via the digital learning platform. This has created a shared knowledge base that supports the development of AI literacy within the organization while providing a structured foundation for the requirements of Article 4 of the EU AI Act. Employees are now empowered to better evaluate AI applications, recognize opportunities and risks, and use AI responsibly in their daily work. For KV Nordrhein, this creates a scalable foundation for the long-term development of AI expertise and provides a solid basis for supporting future AI initiatives.
