Department-wide Data & Analytics Training Concept
For our customer, we developed and implemented a department-wide Data & Analytics training concept. It consists of four separate training paths to achieve specific qualifications.

Challenge
In the automotive sector, experts in data science and AI are sought across all company areas, whether for the product and services themselves or in the production and administration departments. Our client faced the challenge of meeting this enormous demand for various data science roles by building internal know-how. All areas of data science needed to be covered, and employees both domestically and internationally had to be addressed department-wide. Participants should be able to work on the content synchronously in a group with experienced trainers, as well as independently using asynchronous learning offerings.
Approach
To build department-wide data science know-how, we identified and defined the requirements for the four roles of Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Data Analyst, and Data Strategist together with the client. Based on this, we developed an individual and specific learning path for each role, each containing six sequential modules. These modules consist of live group training sessions, specially produced e-learning videos, and various assignments and challenges.
The continuous alternation between theory and practical tasks, as well as between guided and independent learning, encourages participants' motivation and willingness to engage deeply with their roles. To achieve cross-country flexibility, all module content is offered in both German and English, and live training sessions are available both offline on-site and online in remote format.
Result
Based on the developed didactic concepts and implementation using the fully configured client infrastructure and support from competent trainers, the training was successfully rolled out department-wide. The first cohorts of Data Scientists and Data Engineers have successfully completed the training tracks.
