AI Use Case Workshop
In this project, we collaborated with our client, an international pharmaceutical and healthcare corporation, to plan and implement a series of AI use case workshops.

Challenge
The identification, prioritization, and management of AI use cases are crucial prerequisites for generating value through AI. Especially in the early stages of AI maturity, a suboptimal selection of AI use cases can lead to stagnation of the entire initiative. Our client faced the challenge of wanting to establish AI as a key future technology in existing products and services in one of their business areas. To achieve this, suitable use cases needed to be systematically identified and prioritized.
Approach
Individual interviews were conducted with the responsible product managers for all existing products and services. The goal was to understand the product and service landscape and to provide initial inspiration for a creative engagement with AI as a technology in the first discussion. Based on the interviews, a two-day AI use case workshop was planned and conducted in collaboration with the client. During the workshop, product managers were given the opportunity to identify and prioritize potential use cases in a structured manner together with our AI strategy team, following a general introduction to the topic of AI.
Result
Following the workshop, a detailed compilation of the collected ideas was created based on the identified AI use cases. Subsequently, three use cases were selected for implementation. These were evaluated and prioritized based on their potential business impact and general feasibility. Ideas that were not selected for immediate implementation were also documented and made available to the client afterward. The selected AI use cases were then implemented in collaboration with the client.
