AI Training in Companies

What’s it about?

In this whitepaper we explain the tasks & responsibilities of the individual roles of a Data Science and AI team. Building on this, we will show why internal training and support of external service providers are the key to building a successful AI strategy.

The further education of employees in artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the central tasks for establishing AI in one‘s own company. Although other factors, such as a company-wide AI strategy or broad support of AI projects by the various management levels, also play an important role in the success of AI initiatives, no initiative can be established in the long term without a company-wide basic understanding of the topic and a trained Data Science or AI team.

In addition to a company-wide, more fundamentally oriented training program, Data Science or AI teams must be trained on a more individual basis. For the three core roles of the AI team — Data Scientist, Business Analyst, and Data Engineer — a variety of accompanying topics such as agile, collaborative working, or legal and ethical aspects of AI must be taught in addition to technical training. Furthermore, specific knowledge and skills may be required for each of the three roles separately.
