Here's what to expect in our trainee program

Hands-on experience in real projects

You actively participate in real client projects to gain valuable practical insights into the industry's challenges and solutions.

Targeted training and discussions

In regular training sessions and interactive formats, you receive in-depth knowledge and can actively engage with other trainees and experts.

Networking and mentoring

Our trainee program facilitates the building of valuable internal networks. Throughout the entire duration, a mentor will be available to you as a dedicated point of contact.

Hands-on project work

From the very beginning, you will be involved in our exciting projects, working side by side with our experienced team members. You will take on similar tasks as they do—but without the full operational responsibility. This allows you to gain valuable practical experience in a safe environment and quickly adapt to our way of working at statworx.

Sometimes, there are even projects that are largely managed by our trainees. A great example of a trainee pro-bono project is the collaboration with the Städel Museum. The museum needed assistance in tagging artworks for its digital collection. Our trainees developed a deep learning model that predicts tags automatically, significantly supporting the manual work.

Trainee sessions

Deepen knowledge, share experiences

Every Friday, we offer you the opportunity to deepen theoretical foundations and gain new perspectives in our trainee sessions. Here, you will not only learn important hard and soft skills but also exchange ideas with your colleagues and gain valuable insights from experienced employees. These sessions provide the perfect environment to learn from others and share your own experiences.

The sessions are designed to be varied and offer you different formats:

Training

Core trainings taking place once a year on topics such as Scrum, presentation techniques, Consulting 101 and much more.

Trainee projects

Four times a year, you work on projects with clear goals, some of which you carry out in a hackathon style. Topics such as cloud, deep learning or AI are firmly planned.

Expert Talks & Ask-Me-Anything Sessions

Get valuable insights from our experts from various fields and ask your questions.

Peer Teaching & Lightning Talks

Present small topics in a relaxed atmosphere and learn from the diverse backgrounds of your colleagues.

Cloud Certification: Your key to future technology

A special highlight of our trainee program is the opportunity to earn a cloud certification. Together with your fellow trainees, you will prepare intensively for a selected certification. In the process, you can apply and further deepen your newly acquired knowledge directly in real projects.

The certification is more than just an additional qualification; it opens up exciting career opportunities in one of the most important technology areas of the future. With this hands-on preparation, you will be well-equipped to position yourself successfully in the job market in the field of cloud technologies.

Is the trainee program held on-site?

We look forward to your regular presence on-site to make the most of the learning experience. On-site attendance is mostly required, but not every day of the week. Depending on the situation, we can discuss individual solutions.

What does a typical week in the trainee program look like?

Our trainee program follows the proven 4:1 approach: four days a week, you actively work on projects, while the fifth day is reserved for training, discussions, and networking in the trainee sessions. This way, we combine practice and theory in an optimal ratio.

Which languages are important?

Both English and German play an important role in our organization. While English is used in many projects and daily communication, good German language skills are also advantageous—especially for interacting with colleagues and clients.

What are the chances for employment after the trainee program?



Very high! If you engage and develop yourself during the trainee program, the chances of being offered a permanent position are very good.
