Diversity, Equity, Inclusion

At statworx, these three pillars are an important concern to us and are firmly anchored in our daily work through our values and various measures. In the following, we will give you an insight into how we implement and live DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion).

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are the foundation of our success.

DEI rates highly with us.

This attitude is also reflected in our corporate values #wecareforthecrew and #weembraceindividuality. Especially when working in a team, diversity plays an essential role for us. We are convinced that the more colorful the team, the greater the enrichment for all team members.

A milestone for us was the signing of the “Charta der Vielfalt” in 2021, with which we want to send a clear signal for diversity and tolerance in the working world.

At the same time, sexism, racism, and discrimination of any kind are not tolerated at our company. We see our working environment as a safe space in which everyone can fully develop. We are committed to structures in which all employees, with their individual life stories, feel comfortable and part of the team. This framework allows us all to recognize and value our differences and to discover our common ground.

Measures for a more colorful statcrew.

Following is a selection of measures we have already successfully implemented to promote more diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.

statwomen

In 2021, we established the statwomen group. This group meets, among other things, once a month for a joint lunch to talk about various topics and share their own experiences in a protected environment.

Further training

We also organize trainings on the topics of diversity, equity and inclusion. With this, we want to sharpen the awareness of the statcrew and further optimize personnel decisions in recruiting and everyday work with regard to fairness and inclusion.

Women in the tech industry

To promote the visibility of women in tech professions, we also cooperate with non-governmental organizations such as Women in AI & Robotics. We also now regularly participate in Girls' Day.

Equal opportunities

We attach great importance to equal opportunities and ensure this by defining objective assessment criteria and regularly reflecting on them. With clearly defined career plans and salary structures, we ensure transparency and offer our employees optimal opportunities for further development.

Childcare Program

To better combine work and private life, we offer childcare support and flexible part-time models. Furthermore, within the framework of our Remote Work Policy, you have the possibility to flexibly arrange your working hours and locations.

Internal place to go

If a case of discrimination, racism or sexism does occur, we have established a clear process against it – to be on the safe side – and defined specific people within the company who one can contact at any time with one's concerns.

queerworx – Where
diversity meets.

queerworx started as an occasional exchange in a small group of members of the LGBT community. In the meantime, the 15+ queer colleagues and allies meet once a month in an informal atmosphere and go on excursions such as to the Pride Parade, the Pink Christmas Market or to Sunday brunch. We at queerworx want to offer a safe space for free exchange about daily life and its challenges. In addition, queerworx sees itself as an internal LGBTQIA+ advocacy group. Our goal is to work closely with management and people management to make statworx an even more inclusive workplace. To achieve this, we provide our feedback on policy proposals and forward issues that are relevant to us to the right contact persons. New members are very welcome at queerworx!

With our measures,
we are on the right path.

At the same time, we also know that there are still some steps ahead of us to achieve our goal of a fully diverse, equal, and inclusive workplace. To get to that goal, we are continuously looking for additional opportunities to promote and further strengthen diversity, equity, and inclusion at statworx.
