Our Strategy, Sales & Marketing division develops and supports statworx’s strategic direction, assures internal and external communication of our offerings, values, strategy, and is the driving force behind new client and project acquisition. Our main objective is for the three teams to work together to guarantee that strategy, communication, and sales are all in sync. As a member of our newly formed sales team, you will leverage your extensive experience to take our sales processes and activities to the next level. You will support us in developing an approach for Key Account Management that fits our framework conditions, establishing this function within the company, and bringing it to life operationally.

Your tasks

  • You establish and maintain sustainable relationships with key clients by acting as the main point of contact for all client-related concerns and simultaneously as a trusted advisor
  • You develop strategic account plans tailored to our clients' business objectives and lead them to mutual success
  • You continuously analyze the business processes and needs of our key clients to identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities, thereby offering customized data and AI services from our portfolio that enhance their success – even beyond existing contacts
  • You ensure excellent customer care by conducting regular status meetings and responding swiftly and with a solution-oriented approach to customer inquiries and problems
  • You systematically collect feedback from key clients, analyze it in-depth, and derive actions to continuously optimize our offerings
  • You negotiate contracts and terms with key clients to secure long-term collaboration and strengthen business relationships
  • Due to the high technical complexity of our consulting and development services, you always work closely with our internal subject matter experts to ensure targeted offers and an effective implementation of customer projects
  • Through your work, you take responsibility for achieving our ambitious growth targets in the area of key clients assigned to you

Your profile

  • You bring at least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position in B2B sales in IT services, ideally AI consulting and development
  • You have specific industry or functional experience that makes it easier for you to identify customer needs and conduct informed discussions
  • You possess extensive practical experience in developing and implementing key account strategies as well as in managing customer relationships
  • You have a good understanding of the possibilities and limitations of AI and Data Science and a basic technical understanding of projects in these areas
  • You distinguish yourself by your outstanding networking skills and confident demeanor, and you can communicate on an equal footing with contacts from various company sectors and hierarchical levels
  • You excel at recognizing (customer) challenges, deriving valuable solutions, and packaging these into compelling presentations (storytelling)
  • You are a true team player and able to work effectively with internal teams to ensure that customer requirements are properly understood and implemented
  • You have experience using CRM systems (Hubspot preferred)
  • You bring excellent knowledge of German (C2) as well as very good English skills (at least C1), both written and spoken
  • Furthermore, you are characterized by your reliability as well as a thorough and structured way of working
